Instructions for Patients
Report at the Centre one hour before the appointment time.
You have to be on fasting for at least 6 hours before your scheduled time. Water is permitted but no coffee or tea.
Carry all your previous medical records such as reports, film and/or CD of X Rays, CT, MRI, etc.
Wear loose and comfortable clothing and preferably carry an additional set.
Do not wear any metallic objects, jewellery or valuables. The staff is not responsbile for theft or loss of any valuables.
Expected wait time at the PET CT Scan Centre - 4 Hours from the apppointment time
Female patients inform the Staff if you are pregnant or breast-feeding
Diabetic Patients should not have any anti-diabetic medicines (tablets/ injections) on the day of the Scan.
Fasting blood sugar level must be below 150 mg/dl at the time of your appointment.
If you would like to cancel the appointment, please give a notice of at least 24 Hours to the team at the centre
Nueclear PET-CT
Positron Emission Tomography and Computerized Tomography, invented in 2000, is a highly reliable and efficient Imaging tool that was created by fusing two major clinical imaging disciplines; nuclear medicine and radiology.
