Dance

Kalakshetra offers training in Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi styles of classical dances. The teachers are highly trained gurus who are experts in these dance forms. Students are encouraged to give performances at various places as part of the troupe.

Arts and Crafts

Kalakshetra offers classes in Fabric Painting (painting on saree, dress, wall hanging) Oil Painting (sceneries, wall hangings, paint on pot, canvas), Glass Painting (sceneries, floral designs, glass), Pot Painting (crackle media, marble work, glass etching, embossing) Toy Making (teddy bear, monkey, dog, rabbit, Santa Claus) Showcase Items (glass, m-seal,tiles, waste materials).

Other classes

Kalakshetra has classes for all types of folk songs. It also teaches the basics of western dancing such as salsa, hip hop, bhangra, B-Boy, Break Dance, Bollywood and others.
