Himachal Pradesh, is a beautiful hill state with great weather and breathtaking views nestling in the Western Himalayas. Best known for its topographic diversity and breathtaking pristine natural beauty, Himachal Pradesh, with Shimla as its capital, offers high-altitude Trans-Himalayan desert to dense green deodar forests, apple orchards to cultivated terraces, snow capped high Himalayan mountain ranges to snow fed lakes and gushing rivers.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to your ‘Relishing Himachal’ tour! Arrive into the Delhi airport or Delhi railway station. You will proceed on a picturesque drive to the charming hill station of Shimla. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure on your own.
Day 2: This morning proceed for a wonderful excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and hiking trails. Enjoy a walk through the thick cedar woods to Mahasu Peak for an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas. Enjoy a pony or a yak ride (on direct payment basis) around the park. Spend the evening on the Mall Road visiting Scandal Point, Christ Church and Lakkad Bazaar.
Day 3: This morning you will proceed on a breathtaking drive to Manali, nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst the Kullu Valley. Check into your hotel on arrival. The rest of the evening is at leisure on your own.
Day 4: Today’s city tour takes you to the four and a half century old Hadimba Devi Temple and the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. Afternoon enjoy visit to Solang Valley, a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Return to hotel and relax.
Day 5: This morning, proceed on a day excursion to the Rohtang Pass (Closed on Tuesdays). Rohtang Pass was the medieval trading route to Lahaul and Spiti. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired. The rest of the day is free to explore this picturesque town.
Note: Only local vehicles are allowed for Rohtang Pass / Snow point visit.
Day 6: Today you will drive to the well planned city of Chandigarh or Panchkula en route visiting the famous Pinjore Garden. If time permits, visit the famous Rock Garden.
Day 7: Today bid farewell to your 'Relishing Himachal’ tour, as you are transferred to Delhi airport or Delhi railway station for your onward journey.
